Cottage Exterior Transformation

These pictures continue to take me back. Back to the time when things seemed to go so slow because I wanted them done now.  Our cottage was definitely worth waiting for.  We bought the cottage in 1991 from Brad's sister, Cheryl; since then, so many incredible memories have been made at our home in the woods.  Soon after we started using the cottage, Brad started thinking of ways he could make the cottage better. The work seemed daunting to me but Brad just chipped away at it, a little at a time until he was pleased with his results.  There are a few things that still need to be done.  We need to build a garage and we have some great landscaping ideas.  Please disregard the poor quality of the pictures, as they were scanned in.  There are a bunch of great photos trapped in Brad's old Mac, including one of us all sitting on the roof...good times.

Another Look at the Cottage Progression

This was part of our view for quite a while

Hi Brad!

View of Lake Huron

I haven't gone through these old photos of our cottage construction in a long time.  They make me realize just how far we've come.  It is good to look back and see how much we accomplished.  While we were going through the construction, it seemed to take forever but now it's just a blur until I look at these photos. There are more to come.  I am sure anyone who has taken on a large remodeling project can relate.
